HERE'S THE CATCH: WE CHOOSE THE LEATHER!
We have tons of leather remnants that need a home. These pieces are lonely
leftovers from colors that we no longer have in large quantities. By letting us
choose the leather, you get a fine leather journal at a substantial savings and we get
to purge our shop of last season's leather remnants.
We're not talking about gaudy mustard yellow or lime green leather that no one
would dare buy (unless of course you like those colors). These are gorgeous earth
tones (grays, blacks, browns, tans, etc.) that we have in very limited quantities so we
are not able to list them on other sections of our website.
WE DON'T WANT YOU TO BE UNHAPPY
Therefore, we have provided you with a chance to tell us what color you absolutely
DO NOT WANT below. We will be sure to steer clear of that color when creating
your journal.
PAPER
Each size journal contains 200 hand torn pages (back/front). The paper is a hearty
67 lb. ivory colored vellum (What is vellum?) card stock that gives the journal a
wonderful thickness. Due to its hand torn nature, paper may be slightly uneven and
jagged, causing a wonderfully rustic and aged look.
- Color: Ivory
- Thickness: 67 lb. card stock (32 lb. card stock when extra pages
are purchased to prevent journal bulkiness)
- Details: acid & lignin free (archival quality)
- Unlined paper (lined paper available for $5)
BINDING/SHAPING METHOD
This journal is hand bound with heavyweight embroidery thread in ivory to
compliment the color of the paper. All our leather pieces are treated with the
utmost care and shaped and cut by hand.
